The ITA Operations Coordinator will assist with the daily operations of the ITA to ensure efficiency, productivity and effectiveness. The coordinator will be responsible for optimizing certain processes and resources, and assisting the ITA Managing Director and the ITA CEO in meeting organizational goals. Responsibilities will include the following:
Championships: At the direction of the ITA Managing Director and ITA Competitive staff, assist with the following tasks:
- Running of ITA Championship and Circuit Event Programs
- ITA Rankings maintenance, ITA Results Entry, and scheduling of ITA Governance Committees
Finance: Maintain and update accounts payable spreadsheets as well as check and donor logs, upload receipts to Bill.com credit card system, maintain orderly Google Drive folders, and continue to improve upon various ITA internal processes. Identify key saving opportunities within current ITA operations.
Special Projects: Execute on matters related to “one-off” projects, conduct research, develop surveys and analyze survey feedback, maintain ITA project plans, post jobs and consistently update ITA Classifieds page, assist with ATP & WTA/ITF accelerator programs, help support new technology projects and organize Masters ‘U’ team logistics. Work cross-functionally, assist with tasks during staff transition periods, and complete other tasks as directed by the ITA CEO and ITA Managing Director
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong written, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate
- Operations experience
- Interest in and ability to attend to a variety of tasks
- Experience in college tennis as a player or coach is preferable
- Proven work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently but also multi-task in a collaborative environment
- Familiarity with standard tech applications and a willingness to learn new technology applications as required
Additional Information:
- Position will require travel throughout the year for championships and events
- This position will work remotely from a home office set-up
- Employee will be eligible for medical, dental, retirement, and life insurance benefits.
- The position will work cross-functionally across ITA departments and will report to the ITA Managing Director
- Start Date – January 2, 2025
