Robert Kubica’s interview with BBC is incredibly honest and emotional. “The problem in F1 is the place. Maybe someday, when FIA says that the car has to be 10-15 cm wider, they will be able to drive, but it’s not like rallies are a backup plan. What’s important to me is that I see progress. In everyday life, I struggle with limitations, but when I drive, I see progress – whether it’s in a rally car or a simulator. The question is, how much efficiency I can regain and how long it will take me, but to be honest, it doesn’t matter to me whether it takes a month or 10 years, maybe someday I will have the chance to drive in F1 again,” says the Pole.
