After a jam-packed October, November is thankfully a little less stuffed with big releases than usual. In fact, in terms of triple-A releases, it’s one of the quietest Novembers in recent memory. However, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, as it means there’s more room for the many great indie releases coming this month that can hopefully get a higher profile than normal.

We’ve picked out the best and biggest games coming out across all major platforms in November 2025.

Europa Universalis 5 key art showing an explorer riding a horse.

Paradox Interactive

Platforms: PC

It’s been a good year for grand strategy. Civilization 7 kicked off the year in a big way, and now, as things draw to a close, we’ve got a bunch of high-profile releases, from a new Crusader Kings 3 DLC to the next Anno game, and here we have the next entry in the Europa Universalis series. If you’re someone who likes overseeing empires in large-scale, long-term matches, then this will be of great interest to you.

Football Manager 26 key art.

Sports Interactive / SEGA

Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch

Football Manager is finally back after a year’s break. This game was originally meant to come out as FM 25; however, the team decided to delay the game this year to better navigate the series’ transition to Unity from the old engine. It has a bunch of new features, most notably, women’s football is now included alongside their acquisition of the official Premier League license, meaning all your favourite teams will be in the game.

Sonic and Knuckles running through Green Hill Zone while Amy waves them on

Sonic Rumble / Sega

Platforms: PC

Sonic Rumble was suddenly delayed from its looming release date earlier in the year, but now it’s finally ready for everyone to play. This is a Fall Guys-style party game with all your favourite Sonic characters and some guest stars from Sega’s lineup. The game is primarily geared towards mobile; however, it will also be available on PC via Steam early next month.

The character roster for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment / Nintendo

Platforms: Nintendo Switch 2

It’s finally time for some more Zelda action as the third Hyrule Warriors game comes our way this month. Much like the last one, this fills in some of the missing lore from the most recent main series game, in this case: Tears of the Kingdom. It takes place in the distant past from the main game, during the time we see play out in Zelda’s memories.

Rhythm action gameplay

Playstack

Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S

One of the more high-profile indie releases of the month, Unbeatable caught attention thanks to its striking 2D visual style combined with some fun-looking rhythm-action gameplay that will put your musical talents to the test as you bring freedom to an oppressed world where music has been banned.

Winter Burrow

Noodlecake

Platforms: PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S

After a cute reveal at a recent Nintendo Direct, Winter Burrow has captured the hearts of many. You play as a little mouse who goes out in the depths of winter to try and survive, and it’s your job to keep them alive on their journey. Despite the harsh cold you’ll be playing in, the whole thing has quite a cozy vibe – the mouse even knows how to knit.

Soilders running away from a flying airship.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 / Activision Blizzard

Platforms: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S

Call of Duty’s offering for the year is dropping in mid-November, and it seems to have received a bit of a lukewarm reception so far, especially compared to the hype behind recent releases like Battlefield 6 and Arc Raiders. Still, there are plenty of people who will always jump on for a new CoD release, so military shooter fans have plenty to play right now.

Where Winds Meet Gameplay

NetEase Games

Platforms: PC, PS5

Where Winds Meet is an open-world action RPG set in 10th-century China and takes a lot of cues from series like Assassin’s Creed. The surprising thing here is that it’s going to be free-to-play at launch, despite it looking a lot like a single-player RPG. Exactly how the monetization works out remains to be seen, as the game is also coming to mobile, but it’s definitely one worth keeping an eye on this month.

Escape from Tarkov

Escape from Tarkov / Photo Courtesy of Battlestate Games

Platforms: PC

Given that Escape from Tarkov has been purchasable and playable since 2017, you’d be forgiven for thinking that the team had already finished and released it at some point during that time, but no. Escape from Tarkov has just gone gold and will officially be released into 1.0 later this month.

Platforms: Meta Quest 3 & 3S

Deadpool is finally returning to the realm of video games, but only in virtual reality. This game will see you hack and slash your way through hordes of enemies in VR, all with Deadpool’s classic layer of…well, let’s call it “charm”.

Neptune, Mr Krabs, Squidward, and Spongebob in the Krusty Krab

SpongeBob SquarePants – Titans of the Tide / THQ Nordic

Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2

Who would’ve guessed we’d see Deadpool and SpongeBob go head-to-head on releases in 2025. Anyway, Titans of the Tide is a brand new SpongeBob action platformer which sees the iconic sponge and starfish caught up in a row between King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman. You’ll be able to switch between SpongeBob and Patrick at will, which will make for much smoother and better-paced platforming action.

Demonschool gameplay

Necrosoft

Platforms: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch

Demonschool is a very promising-looking indie coming out this month that mixes Persona-style life-sim gameplay with the turn-based tactics action of XCOM. It’s bright and colorful art style make for a cool-looking world as your band of high schoolers fight off the demons from beyond, no doubt culminating in fighting some kind of god – you know, JRPG stuff.

Will running across a bridge over a canyon with water at the bottom.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault / 11 Bit Studios

Platforms: PC

I’m a little scared to put Moonlighter 2 in one of these releases articles, as every time I do, it gets delayed again, but hopefully the sequel to the excellent indie dungeon-crawler will actually be coming out in early access this month.

Kirby Air Riders poster.

Nintendo

Platforms: Nintendo Switch 2

After multiple showcases from Sakurai about the surprisingly deep amount of content in this game, we’ll finally be able to get our hands on the new Kirby racing game at the end of the month, with perhaps even the cute pink ball showing up Mario Kart this year.

Constance gameplay

Btf

Platforms: PC

Constance is a hand-drawn 2D metroidvania that might just scratch the itch of anyone who’s already finished Silksong and looking for another hit. However, this is no dark and gloomy world, as this time you’ll be using your paintbrush as a weapon to fill it with color.
