Live from historic Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco, Judgement Day is headlined by one of the most anticipated matchups in the history of the 1v1 space, Nasir “Nas” Core vs. Kevin “Uncle Skoob” Kuteyi. The co-main event features another long-awaited meeting between Lamar “LP” Peters and Isaiah “Zae” Moore, while Dominique “Left Hand Dom” Alexander and Malik Ellison are set to square off in a guard matchup that fans have been requesting for a hot minute.

Bruce Massey and Ivan Dooley are scheduled to rehash the instant classic we saw in Los Angeles last month, and you can’t forget the must-see matchups pitting Rilla vs. Davionhn “Scar” Scarborough and Jakeem “Keem” Acres vs. Joseph Lewis III on the card either.

These matchups aren’t so much about the stats.  They’re about the storylines. These are high-stakes battles that will not only shape the future of streetball but will also have long-lasting impacts on the careers of everyone involved. Raw emotion, intensity, passion, and energy will be running through the gym! In 1v1, there’s no room for error; playing on both sides of the ball is a must. With that, friendships, rivalries, and trajectories will be defined and forever changed.

Surely, March 28 will bring pure drama and toxicity, and the hoops world will finally see who’s really still GOT IT!

1v1 Event Rules

Each game is played to 30 points, scored through 2-pointers and 3-pointers.  Expect physicality so that players will get plenty of trips to the charity stripe. Speaking of that, if a player gets fouled while shooting, they get one free throw. If the free throw is missed, possession goes to the other player. Possessions end on a shot attempt (make or miss), turnover, free throw, attempt, or jump ball, which results in a change of possession.

Halftime occurs when 15 points are reached, and each player gets two time-outs. The first player to reach 30 points wins.

Thirty points can come quickly, or players will fight to the very end! With a four-dribble limit, every move counts, and even slight mistakes can cost the game!

Matchup Previews and Storylines

Main Event: Nasir Core vs. Uncle Skoob

From enemies to brothers to something much more complicated, the ups and downs of Uncle Skoob and Nas’ relationship have been one of the central storylines throughout the last few years in the streetball space. Two of the premier names in the sport, the pair will settle their differences once and for all in the matchup of the year at Judgement Day on Saturday.

What started as a heated rivalry turned into a kinship once Skoob and Nas decided to collaborate forces on the StreetStarz in 2024. However, things went sour after a disagreement over a side bet, leading Nas to pull out of a planned matchup against Eugene German at an event last year. In an effort to maintain a good event for the paying fans, Skoob stepped in to face Eugene. Let’s just say, it didn’t go as planned.

Skoob, understandably, lost a lot of respect for Nas after that incident and the pair’s relationship hasn’t been the same ever since. They met at the Nesquik Creator Cup last year when they were still aligned, but we know how Skoob (and many in the space) feel about how that one was contested thanks to all the extracurriculars on the side.

With real tension involved now and legacies on the line, there’s even more at stake when these two meet for the second time on Saturday. And in a closed environment at the classic Kezar Pavilion, there are no excuses for Skoob this time if he doesn’t come out on top.

In Skoob’s most recent Ballislife 1v1 matchup at December’s Undisputed in The Bronx, Skoob beat Frank Nitty 32-29 in a come-from-behind effort in a game that was certainly one of the best matchups of 2025. Nas notably trounced Kyree at Summer Jam in front of his hometown DMV crowd in D.C. last summer, earning a 31-11 victory that is one of the many highlights of his long-standing 29-game win streak.

Nas (73%)
Uncle Skoob (31 %)

Co-Main Event: LP vs Zae

Lamar “LP” Peters vs. Zae may be the co-main event on Saturday night, but this is arguably the matchup at Judgement Day with the highest stakes in terms of positioning in the streetball space. Zae has already disrespected LP in the lead up to their long awaited meeting, refusing to appear on an Instagram live with him and Devinthelab to hype up the match. LP didn’t take that lightly, and now an already personal matchup is even more heated as we approach this primetime PPV event.

“I’m going to treat him like I’m older than him,” LP said. “I’m going to treat him like I’m better than him. I’m going to treat him like I done been through way more shit than him. I’m going to just show him. I think everybody really know, bro … Man, look, just bring your money. I just want him to bring his money, bring the money, bring the bag. I’m going to f–k him up.”

Not only is LP willing to put his money on the line against Zae, he wants to take down the entire StreetStarz roster, including Nas and Skoob. Zae, on the other hand, doesn’t even see LP as a serious competitor in this matchup and certainly doesn’t see him as someone worthy of this spot. When you consider Zae’s resume, it’s not hard to see why he feels that way.

Zae doesn’t just face the best, he beats them. His 23-1 record includes wins over Nas, Skoob, Scar and Nesco. The only blemish on his resume is a loss to Rob Colon in an instant classic at Summer Jam 2025, but he’s bounced back nicely with wins over Left Hand Dom and Bruce in 2026.

Zae (53%)
Lamar Peters (46%)

Ballislife x Kalshi

Ballislife is proud to announce its Judgement Day partnership with Kalshi, a prediction market platform dedicated to trading on the outcome of future events. For the first time, Ballislife is offering secure ways to trade on 1v1 matchups. Available in every state, payouts are guaranteed, and you can even trade the game live. While you can predict matchup outcomes, Kalshi additionally offers trading on culture, climate, economics, and more.

Head to the App Store or sign up at www.Kalshi.com. Once you sign up using the promo code 1v1, new members will receive $10 if they trade $10. From there, deposit funds into your account, and you’re ready to go!

If you’re interested in putting money down on each matchup, click HERE.

Not sure how to predict on Kalshi? We will walk you through it. Let’s take Nas vs. Uncle Skoob for example. Similar to a moneyline, you buy a position on who will win. With Kalshi, you are peer-to-peer trading, not against the house. Nas currently has a 73% chance to beat Skoob. Think of it as the stock market, but the stock is the outcome of the matchup.

Will Nasir Core win? If you predict this will be the outcome, you can buy in dollars and purchase shares at $.73. If you buy 20 shares, the payout would be $20 ($1 per share). There’s also a limit order, where you can set both number shares and max price, as well as an order book, where you can see bids and asks at different prices. If you think Nas won’t win, purchasing 20 shares would pay out $20 if he loses.

As the price increases, you can sell and make a profit. Conversely, if it drops, you can sell to prevent a loss. If you’re waiting for the entire matchup, projected payouts are five minutes after closing.

This market will close and expire after a winner is declared. Otherwise, it closes by Apr. 11, 2026, at 7 p.m. EDT.

Rilla vs Scar

After Scar earned a statement victory at All-Star Weekend, he made it very clear in his postgame interview with Devinthelab that he wanted to see better competition in front him when he steps foot on the scene.

“Stop putting people in front of Scar, bro,” Scar said. “I’ve been doing this for five years. I’m better than them. I don’t want to play these bums, bro. Put me with Nas, LP, Esco, those type of guys.”

He won’t see a member of that esteemed trio on Saturday, but he does get a high-level matchup against one of the most intriguing up and comers in the 1v1 scene right now in Ryan “Rilla” Parilla. Rilla played Division I basketball at San Jose State University and is making his Ballislife debut after making a name for himself in 1v1 events throughout the West Coast.

Malik vs Left Hand Dom

The battle of undersized guards that streetball fans have been clamoring for, Malik and Left Hand Dom are finally set to square off at Judgement Day and both stars have agreed to put their appearance fee on the line just to add to the already massive stakes this matchup provides.

Left Hand Dom enters on an impressive seven-game win streak, including impressive performances in a 31-10 win over Chris Lykes and a 30-7 win over Aquille Carr at recent Ballislife events. Malik’s impressive skillset has gotten him to the big stage for this matchup, but a win over an established star like Left Hand Dom could put his career on an entirely different trajectory.

Predict the outcome on Kalshi

Left Hand Dom (53%)
Malik (47%)

Bruce vs Dooley

Bruce and Dooley are set to square off in a rematch of their highly entertaining bout at OTD All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles in February, but Dooley enters with something extra to prove after suffering a shocking 31-11 loss to DeeBaby at a TSF Sports vs. OTD event recently. After that slip up, it’s safe to say Bruce is coming into Saturday’s matchup with a little less respect for his opponent despite the fact that they had a controversial battle recently.

“Nah (there’s no pressure),” Bruce said. “Why would there be pressure? I didn’t lose 31-11 to nobody coming up. I don’t have no pressure. I’m not coming off back to back losses. You lost to me in a “controversy” at All-Star Weekend, okay cool. But you lost 31-11 your last game in Houston, why would the pressure be on me? I’ve won my last five games.”

Predict the outcome on Kalshi

Keem vs Joseph Lewis

The only free matchup of the entire PPV card, Keem vs. Joseph Lewis should be a highly entertaining matchup to start the event. Joseph enters as a heavy underdog, but he believes his style of play suits him in this matchup.

“I like being the underdog,” Joseph said. “I like people not expecting me to show up in this space and compete, but if you look at all my games, one thing you’ll see is they’re all a dogfight. I like to make them scrappy, I like to make it competitive and we gon’ get at it. I’m willing to play anybody.”

Keem enters on a four-game win streak, a stretch that includes a wild 30-27 over Bruce at an OTD event last month. His most recent win was a 30-9 drubbing of Hegel on another OTD stream on March 9.

Predict the outcome on Kalshi

Joseph Lewis (50%)
Keem (49%)
