During the race, Piastri took the lead from Verstappen and held on for most of the Grand Prix. However, Norris was able to overtake him after a pit stop, following team instructions to let his teammate pass. Piastri went on to win the race, with Norris finishing second and Hamilton taking the final podium spot for Mercedes.
Leclerc finished fourth, with Verstappen in fifth after a clash with Hamilton that will be investigated. Sainz and Perez followed in sixth and seventh respectively, while Russell finished in eighth after starting from P17.
Further down the field, Tsunoda and Stroll completed the top 10, with Alonso in 11th and Ricciardo in 12th. Hulkenberg, Albon, and Magnussen took 13th, 14th, and 15th places respectively.
Bottas, Sargeant, Ocon, and Zhou finished in positions 16 to 19, with Gasly being the only retiree due to a hydraulic issue in his car.
