The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) has announced that the 2024 IMMAF Asian Championships will take place during BRAVE International Combat Week from August 18 to 22 in Lahore, Pakistan.
Pakistan follows the likes of Bahrain, Colombia, and Serbia to host the marquee event and this will be the first BRAVE International Combat Week to be held in Asia outside of Bahrain.
The action in Pakistan will begin with BRAVE CF 85 on August 18, marking the return of BRAVE Combat Federation to Pakistan after nearly six years. The event will feature top MMA fighters from around the world, highlighting BRAVE CF’s status as the most global MMA organization. The IMMAF Asian Championships will follow, running from August 18 to August 22, and will be held in Pakistan for the first time, making it a landmark moment for MMA in the country and the region.
This event adds to a busy August for IMMAF. The month will start with the 2024 IMMAF Youth World Championships in Abu Dhabi from August 6 to August 10. Following the Asian Championships, IMMAF will host the 2024 Pan American Championships in Mexico from August 31 to September 7.
The upcoming edition of the Asian Championship follows the 2023 IMMAF Asian Championships held as part of the BRAVE International Combat Week in Bahrain and is expected to feature athletes from Afghanistan, Bahrain, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei), Tajikistan, UAE, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and other Asian nations.
