Dallas, TX – One of the best professional development opportunities for collegiate tennis coaches has arrived once again as hundreds of coaches from across the country will converge in Dallas, Texas at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex for the 2024 ITA Coaches Convention.
Beginning in 1985, the ITA Coaches Convention welcomes college tennis coaches, both head and assistant coaches from every level of our sport, to engage in panel discussions, networking, and clinics over the multi-day convention.
In 2024, nearly 200 coaches from over 120 collegiate programs are making their way to Dallas to learn more about their craft and network with many of the top minds from the greater tennis community while they are in Dallas. In attendance will be coaches from every level of our sport (Division I, II, III, NAIA, NJCAA, 3C2A, and Wheelchair) who all bring unique perspectives and insight as to how college tennis can continue to exist as one of the strongest Olympic sports at the collegiate level.
With this year’s convention being hosted in November, coaches can enjoy more time off with family and friends during the holiday season. These dates fall the weekend before the 2024-25 NCAA Division I Singles and Doubles Championships in Waco, Texas. This scheduling aims to allow coaches an opportunity to network and develop professionally before taking the short drive to coach or watch the NCAA Division I Individual Championships.
Featured speakers at this year’s ITA Coaches Convention include the likes of John Isner, Jenny Mainz, David Roditi, Manny Diaz, Claire Pollard, Philip Farmer, Tracy Davies, and Stephen Huss to name a few. For a complete list of all speakers at the 2024 ITA Coaches Convention, please head to the ITA Coaches Convention speaker webpage on the ITA website.
