From June 10-15, the Pacific Netball Series was held for the fourth time. The series is run by PacificAus Sports, hosted by Netball Australia, and funded by the Australian Government. The Government has just extended its partnership with Netball Australia to support netball pathways in the Pacific.
This year, the Pacific Netball Series was held at Nissan Arena in Brisbane with free entry for fans. For the first time, an Australian First Nations team called the Black Swans competed alongside five national teams from Asia, Oceania, and Africa. They performed well, winning four of their six matches, but as they weren’t a national team, they were ineligible to win and were placed last. You can catch up on all the matches for free through Netball Pass.
