2024 Sky Overseas + Offseason Updates Rundown No. 1

CHICAGO (November 29, 2024) — Seven Chicago Sky players are currently participating or set to play in domestic or overseas play this offseason. Below are the listed players, their respective teams, league and country.

Lindsay Allen — Botaş SK (KBSL, Turkey)

2024 WNBA No. 3 overall pick Kamilla Cardoso made her Women’s Chinese Basketball Association debut on Nov. 16, suiting up for Shanghai. In her first career overseas game, Cardoso recorded 25 points, 13 rebounds and three assists. She made 11 of her 17 field goal attempts in the loss to Shanxi.
In her second game, Cardoso and Shanghai dominated against Guangdong, 80-58. Cardoso scored a game-high 26 points to go along with 11 rebounds and three assists. She helped Shanghai to another win on Nov. 22, making all 11 of her field goal attempts and finishing with 23 points.
Cardoso is averaging 21.0 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists while shooting 71.4% (45 of 63) from the field. Shanghai, which sits at 4-1, next plays Fujian on Nov. 30.
Chennedy Carter also made her 2024 overseas season debut. Suiting up for Wuhan, Carter recorded 14 points, five rebounds and three assists in the opener against Shaanxi. In the following game, Carter scored 24 points, five rebounds and a game-high seven assists to help lift her team over Shaanxi.
Carter is coming off back-to-back 40+ point games in her last two appearances. She scored 42 points against Liaoning in each game. In the Nov. 26 win, she made 13 of her 28 field goal attempts while recording eight rebounds and game highs of seven assists and four steals. In the following game on Nov. 28, she added 14 rebounds and six assists to her 40-point outing.
In six games with Wuhan, Carter is averaging 28.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2.3 steals per game. Wuhan next plays Heilongjiang in a pair of games on Dec. 1 and 3. Wuhan is 4-2 this season.
By playing in her 45th game in the Australian WNBL, Brianna Turner became eligible for being an all-time statistics leader in the league. She currently ranks first all time in WNBL rebounds per game by averaging 12.3 for her career.
She’s played five games with the Adelaide Lightning so far this season, averaging 6.2 points, 12.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 3.6 steals and 3.0 blocks per game. Turner has led the Lightning in rebounds in all five of their games this season. She had a season-high 17 rebounds in the first game of the season against Bendigo. On Nov. 9 against Perth, she had a season-high six steals and on Nov. 16 against Geelong United, Turner notched five blocks. Adelaide opened the season 1-4.
Isabelle Harrison is playing overseas for the first time since 2021, suiting up for USK Praha. In all, she’s averaging 11.6 points and 5.9 rebounds in 13 games. She’s helped USK Praha win their Czech Republic games by a combined 404 points (average margin of victory is 50.5 points). Harrison recorded season highs of 21 points and 10 rebounds on Oct. 6. She had a game-high 18 points and six rebounds on Nov. 16.
USK Praha is undefeated in ZBL play, going 9-0 to sit atop the standings. They play in EuroLeague’s Group D, sitting at 4-2.
Dana Evans is once again suiting up for Beşiktaş. In 11 games this season, she’s averaging 18.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.4 steals per game. She’s had a season-high 23 points twice this season. Evans recorded a game-high 16 points in a Nov. 21 win.
Beşiktaş is 3-4 in Turkish League play so far this season, ranking fifth. However, Evans has helped lead Beşiktaş to a 6-0 record in EuroCup so far this season, with the team sitting atop the Group K standings.
Lindsay Allen is playing for Botaşspor Adana for the second straight season. In seven games with the club, she’s averaging 17.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 6.7 assists while shooting 46.4% from the field and 42.1% from three. She recorded season highs of 21 points and 14 assists in a win over Mersin on Oct. 26. Allen matched her season high with 21 points and a game-high nine assists on Nov. 23.
Botaş sits at 3-5 on the season and in ninth place in the Turkish League standings.
Angel Reese was selected to Team Rose for Unrivaled in its inaugural season. She will play alongside Las Vegas guard Chelsea Gray, Phoenix guard/forward Kahleah Copper, Washington guard Brittney Sykes, Indiana guard Lexie Hull and Los Angeles forward Azurá Stevens. Team Rose will be coached by Nola Henry.
The 3-on-3 league kicks off play on Jan. 17 and will be played in Miami. Team Rose kicks off play on Jan. 17 against Team Vinyl. Games are available on TNT. More information about Unrivaled can be found at the league’s site here.
