2024 Sky Overseas + Offseason Updates Rundown No. 2

CHICAGO (December 9, 2024) — Seven Chicago Sky players are currently participating or set to play in domestic or overseas play this offseason. Below are the listed players, their respective teams, league and country.

Lindsay Allen — Botaş SK (KBSL, Turkey)
Kamilla Cardoso — Shanghai Baoshan Dahua Swordfish (WCBA, China)

Dana Evans — Beşiktaş JK Istanbul (KBSL, Turkey)
Isabelle Harrison — ZVVZ USK Praha (ZBL, Czech Republic)

Brianna Turner — Adelaide Lightning (WNBL, Australia)
Chennedy Carter scored her third 40-point game of the season on Dec. 6 against Hefei in a 94-79 win. She scored an overseas season high of 44 points in the win to go along with 14 rebounds. That game was also her third 40-point outing in four games. In the other game during that stretch, she recorded a game-high 35 points. In those four games, Carter averaged 40.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.3 steals while shooting 52.7% from the field.
Carter has helped lead Wuhan to a 7-3 record, which ranks second in the WCBA Group B standings, just 0.5 games out of first place. In total, she averaged 31.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists in her first eight games.
Carter and Wuhan next play Xiamen on Dec. 11 and 13. Xiamen is 2-6 on the season.
Kamilla Cardoso helped lead Shanghai to a 3-1 record over the past two weeks, averaging 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks while shooting 57.5% from the field. She notched a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double in a 100-54 win over Fujian on Nov. 30. She scored a team-high 13 points on Dec. 3.
Cardoso then recorded 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and four blocks on Dec. 6. She wrapped up the week with game highs of 19 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Beijing.
In total, Cardoso is averaging 18.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists in nine games. Shanghai is 7-2 and ranks second in the WCBA Group A2 standings. Cardoso and Shanghai next play Hebei on Dec. 10.
Dana Evans and Beşiktaş picked up a pair of wins on Dec. 2 and 8. Evans recorded 10 points and a game-high nine assists in the Dec. 2 win over Tarsus. She then notched game highs of 18 points and five assists in the Dec. 8 win against Ormanspor.
Evans and Beşiktaş next play Gorzow Wielkopolski in EuroCup play. Beşiktaş is 6-0 in EuroCup and 5-4 in the KBSL standings.
Brianna Turner and Adelaide split a pair of games against Southside and Geelong United on Dec. 6 and 8. She recorded an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double in the Dec. 6 win over Southside, also notching a game-high five blocks. Turner then secured a double-double in the Dec. 8 loss against Geelong United, finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Adelaide is now 2-6 on the season. Turner and Adelaide’s next game is on Dec. 15 against Canberra.
Lindsay Allen and Botaş played Galatasaray on Dec. 7, falling narrowly to the 9-1 club. Allen recorded 15 points and a team-high five assists in that game. She’s now averaging 16.8 points, and 6.5 assists while shooting 46.7% from the field and 40.0% from three in eight games.
Allen and Botaş next play on Dec. 14 against Tarsus. Botaş is currently 3-6 and ranked ninth in the KBSL standings.
Isabelle Harrison concluded her time with USK Praha. In 13 games with the team, she averaged 11.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 0.9 blocks and 0.9 steals while shooting 47.8% from the field and 33.3% from three. She helped USK Praha go undefeated in ZBL play to this point and a 3-2 record in EuroLeague play.
