Ohio State women’s basketball announced that Sheldon will now serve as the team’s director of player development. While she remains focused on her upcoming WNBA season, this new role allows her to make an impact at Ohio State once again.
Originally from Ohio, Sheldon played for the Buckeyes throughout her college career. She spent five seasons with the program, averaging 15.6 points per game. In her senior season, she averaged 17.8 points per game with impressive shooting percentages.
Known for her intense defensive effort, Sheldon averaged 1.9 steals per game at Ohio State. Her ability to contribute on both ends of the court made her a sought-after prospect for WNBA teams.
