Tempe, AZ – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (“ITA”) is pleased to announce the 2025 ITA Division III Men’s National Award recipients. Every year the ITA recognizes coaches and student-athletes for their excellence both on the court and in their communities throughout the season.
The Division III national awards include: ITA Coach of the Year, ITA Assistant Coach of the Year, Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship, ITA Rookie of the Year, ITA Most Improved Player, ITA Senior Player of the Year, and the ITA Player to Watch.

ITA Coach of the YearPaul Settles | Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
Paul Settles from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps has been named the 2025 ITA Division III Women’s Coach of the Year. At the helm of the No. 1 ranked team in Division III Men’s Tennis, Settles has once again taken the CMS program to the highest levels of college tennis. In his 21st season with the program, Settles and CMS have gone 31-2 on the season and are currently the No. 1 team in the NCAA Tournament which is hosted on their home courts. This season, CMS was crowned ITA National Team Indoor Champions and are currently on a 31 match winning streak, going unbeaten against Division III opponents. Settles has helped coach the No. 1 ranked singles player in the nation and has two doubles teams in the Top 15 of the doubles rankings. Settles and his team will look to make their seventh NCAA Championship Final in the past 11 years this week in Claremont.
ITA Assistant Coach of the YearAlan Dubrovsky | Babson Colleges
Alan Dubrovsky from Babson Colleges has been named the 2025 ITA Division III Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year. Being with the Babson program for the past three years, Dubrovsky has poured his heart and soul into both the men’s and women’s programs, helping them be as successful as possible. Achieving many historic feats this season, Dubrovsky and the Babson team won their conference tournament for the first time since 2021, and defeated MIT in the final who had not lost a conference tournament match since 1995. Currently ranked No. 12 in the nation, Babson peaked at No. 11 earlier in the season which marked a new program high. Finishing the season with a 22-3 overall record, Babson reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament before falling for just the third time this season to top seeded CMS.
ITA Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship AwardEthan Lee | Pomona-Pitzer Colleges
Ethan Lee from Pomona-Pitzer Colleges has been named the 2025 ITA Division III Men’s Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award winner. Over the past four years, Lee has been an integral part of the Pomona-Pitzer men’s tennis team as well as surrounding campus community. Serving a team captain for the Sagehens, Lee presence has fostered a positive culture around the program that has translated to on-court cohesiveness. In the community, Lee has been a program director with ACEing Autism, a program that uses tennis as a vehicle to engage children on the autism spectrum. Lee has worked with this program each year he has been on campus and is now in a leadership role in his program. Lee has consistently put others before himself and has made a legacy that will last well beyond the tennis courts during his time at Pomona-Pitzer.
ITA Rookie of the YearDrew Goldman | Pomona-Pitzer Colleges
Drew Goldman from Pomona-Pitzer Colleges has been named the 2025 ITA Division III Men’s Rookie of the Year. As a freshman, Goldman has been one of the top players in all of the country. Ranked No. 12 in the nation in singles, Goldman has gone 17-5 in singles on the season, including an unbeaten streak that lasted from the end of September until the end of March. Just as dominant in doubles, Goldman currently ranks No. 6 in the nation in doubles. Goldman has qualified for both the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships which he will compete in later this week in Claremont.
ITA Most Improved PlayerJake Cohen | Colby College
Jake Cohen from the Colby College has been named the 2025 ITA Division III Men’s Most Improved Player. Playing from the top singles position all season long, Cohen has worked his way up the Colby lineup over the years and has developed his level into one of the top players in the country. Ranked in the Top 40 in singles, Cohen was a singles semifinalist at the 2024 ITA New England Regionals giving him great confidence heading into the spring. In doubles, Cohen has ranked in the Top 25 of the national doubles rankings playing at the No. 1 doubles position also.
ITA Senior Player of the YearVuk Vuksanovic | Babson College
Vuk Vuksanovic from Tufts University has been named the 2025 ITA Division III Men’s Senior Player of the Year. As one of the nation’s top players throughout his career, Vuksanovic has continued his success this year for a Tufts team that is once again near the top of the rankings. Winning the New England Singles Regional Championship this fall, Vuksanovic has gone 23-2 in all singles competition this season including wins in his last 14 matches. Currently, he ranks No. 2 in the ITA Singles Rankings and No. 4 in the ITA Doubles Rankings. The Jumbos and Vuksanovic are currently in the NCAA Semifinals where they will continue to work for a national title.
ITA Player to WatchMark Kneiss | Bowdoin College
Mark Kneiss from Bowdoin College has been named the 2025 ITA Division III Men’s Player to Watch. Playing at the No. 4 singles line his first two years, Kneiss has made the jump to the No. 1 singles line this season and has flourished. Going 18-5 in singles and 12-2 in doubles, Kneiss is a major reason the Bowdoin team has been as success as they have been this season. With an 18-5 team record, Kneiss and the Bowdoin team made it to the NCAA Regional final and have high hopes for what they can achieve in the year to come.
