NASHVILLE, Tenn. – [7] Illinois’ 2025-26 season came to a close with a 75-57 loss at [2] No. 6 Vanderbilt in the NCAA Tournament Second Round on Monday night inside Memorial Gymnasium.

After advancing to the second round for the second straight season, the Fighting Illini finished with a 22-12 record, the program’s third 20-win season under fourth-year head coach Shauna Green.

Berry Wallace registered a team-high 18 points, scoring in double figures in each of the final 24 games of the season. The sophomore grabbed five of her nine rebounds on the offensive glass and added three steals and an assist. Her 626 points in 2025-26 are the sixth-most in a single season in program history.

Cearah Parchment posted 12 points and eight rebounds, adding to her freshman scoring and rebounding records. Corralling five of her eight boards on the offensive end of the floor, she also made one block in the final act of her historic freshman campaign.

Jasmine Brown-Hagger amassed 12 points, five rebounds, and two assists, while Destiny Jackson concluded her debut season with six rebounds, four steals, three assists, and two points. With her three helpers, Jackson moved into sole possession of the program’s single-season assists record.

Lety Vasconcelos added six points, seven rebounds, one block, and one steal off the bench, while Maddie Webber tacked on five points and three boards.

Player Notes:

Berry Wallace turned in 18, nine rebounds, three steals, and an assist.

Posted her 32nd outing with double-digit points this season and the 44th such game of her career.

Has scored in double figures in each of the last 24 games.

With 626 points on the season to date, Wallace sits at No. 6 on Illinois’ single-season scoring list, climbing from eighth.
Logged her 17th game with multiple 3-pointers this season.
Tied her career-high with five offensive rebounds.

Had 5+ o boards in three games this season.
Grabbed 9+ rebounds for the sixth time this season.

Equaled her career-high with three steals.

Grabbed multiple steals in five games this season.

Cearah Parchment tallied 12 points and eight rebounds to conclude her freshman season.

Continued to add to the Illinois freshman season scoring record, which now sits at 463.
Recorded her 25th double-digit scoring game of the season.
Grabbed 5+ rebounds for her 33rd consecutive game.

Continued to add to the Illinois freshman season rebounds record, which now sits at 285.
Entered the game at No. 15 on Illinois’ single-season rebounds list and climbed to No. 10.
Had 5+ offensive rebounds for the fourth time this season.

Destiny Jackson delivered six rebounds, four steals, three assists, and two points.

Continued to add to the Illinois freshman season assist record, which now sits at 176.

With 176 assists on the season, Jackson has surpassed Michele Vossen for first on Illinois’ overall single-season assists list and now owns the record.

Grabbed multiple steals for the 15th time this season.

Jasmine Brown-Hagger totaled 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Made multiple steals for the ninth time this season.
Scored in double digits for the eighth time this season.
Four of her five rebounds came on the offensive glass.

Had 4+ o boards for the third time.

Lety Vasconcelos added six points, seven rebounds, a steal, and a block off the bench.

Three of her seven rebounds came on the offensive glass.

Had 3+ o-boards for the fifth time.

Team Notes:

Vanderbilt won the opening tip, but the Illini got a steal and opened the scoring on their first possession of the game.
The first Illini off the bench was Maddie Webber, who checked in at 5:19 in the first quarter. 
Three Illini scored in double figures (Berry Wallace [18], Cearah Parchment [12], and Jasmine Brown-Hagger [12].
The Illini forced 19 Vanderbilt turnovers while committing just 16.

The Illini scored 12 points off those takeaways.

Illinois grabbed 22 offensive rebounds, scoring 21 second-chance points.

The team’s 22 o boards were their second-most in a game this season.

The Illini outscored the Commodores in the paint, 30-22.
