The Miami Dolphins hit the field in Miami Gardens for another training camp practice under the scorching South Florida sun.
Today, the Dolphins hosted the Washington Commanders for a joint practice, marking their second preseason opponent to visit after the Atlanta Falcons last week.
Interestingly, Kendall Fuller, the player awarded the orange jersey for the best practice performance the day before, also hails from Washington. He joined the Dolphins in the offseason as a cornerback.
Fuller signed a two-year, $15 million contract with the Dolphins in March and will be entering his 9th NFL season in 2024. He played for Washington for his first two seasons, then moved to the Kansas City Chiefs for two seasons (where he won a Super Bowl), before returning to the Commanders for the last four seasons.
Throughout his NFL career, Fuller has accumulated 75 passes defensed, 16 interceptions, two touchdowns, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and 486 combined tackles.
The Dolphins are eager for the 29-year-old Fuller to continue his solid performance with the team in 2024 and beyond.
