Yes some are poorly made but they don’t spontaneously explode on a regular basis
E bike batteries need to be charged correctly
Trying to charge it faster than is recommended or safe to do will cause them to blow out and explode much like using a charger to recharge a disposable battery
Hacking or removing regulators on bikes and scooters will also cause problems
You don’t see Divvy or Citi bikes catching fire now do you?
