Chris Weidman is responding after his recent opponent Bruno Silva was given a six-month suspension for violating the UFC anti-doping policy.
Weidman (16-7 MMA) and Silva (23-11 MMA) fought on the main card of a UFC event in Atlantic City. Weidman controversially won the fight by technical decision.
In the final round, Weidman landed a big combination that led to Silva falling to the canvas. It was later revealed that the knockdown was actually due to two separate eye pokes. Despite the controversy, Weidman was declared the winner.
Bruno Silva was recently suspended for six months by the CSAD, UFC’s anti-doping partner. Weidman responded to this news on ‘X’ with a tweet.

While Silva is sidelined, Weidman is preparing for his next fight against Eryk Anders at UFC 309 on November 14th in New York.
Weidman has won three of his last six fights, while Anders is coming off a win against Jamie Pickett. Weidman’s recent Octagon record is 2-4.
