In their UFC 305 bout, Rozenstruik outperformed Tai Tuivasa with technical striking, causing significant damage. Tuivasa injured his leg with a leg check in the second round, and Rozenstruik almost finished him with a couple of flurries in that round.
Despite one judge scoring the fight 29-28 for Rozenstruik and another judge scoring it 30-27 for Rozenstruik, a third judge, Howie Booth, scored every round in favor of Tuivasa. This decision contradicted the unanimous opinion of MMA media and fans that Rozenstruik won rounds two and three.
