Monday’s weigh-in for Week 5 of Dana White’s Contender Series went smoothly with all 10 fighters making weight for their respective bouts.
The event is set to take place on Tuesday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, featuring a headline light heavyweight matchup between Navajo Sterling (206) and Phillip Latu (206). The fights will be broadcast on ESPN+ at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Sterling, with a perfect record of 4-0 since turning pro in 2022, is coming off a third-round TKO victory over Sam Kei at Hex Fight Series 31 on June 14.
Latu, on a four-fight winning streak, last defeated Dylan Potter with a second-round TKO at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 130 on March 8.
