Queen Egbo joined the Aces on an initial 7-day contract before Wilson’s injury, providing crucial frontcourt depth in case Wilson is out for an extended period. Egbo made a brief appearance in the Aces’ previous game against the Liberty, playing for the final 56 seconds. She had previously played on hardship contracts for the Los Angeles Sparks and Connecticut Sun this season.
Egbo, drafted 10th overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2022 WNBA Draft, has moved between multiple teams in the league. Despite a promising rookie season, where she averaged 7.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game, her role has been unsettled, with stints at the Washington Mystics and the Connecticut Sun before joining the Aces.
