Bucs cornerback Zyon McCollum suffered a concussion in the first half of Sunday’s 37-20 win over the Commanders. However, another Bucs starter was added to the injury report on Wednesday.
Surprisingly, right tackle Luke Goedeke was included in the Wednesday injury report. He participated in part of Wednesday’s practice but displayed concussion symptoms, prompting the team to place him in the protocol. It is likely that his concussion occurred during Sunday’s game.
If Goedeke is unable to play on Sunday, Justin Skule will start at right tackle against Detroit. Both Goedeke and McCollum were limited participants on Tampa Bay’s injury report on Wednesday.
Some Bucs Players On The Mend

Despite having a concussion, cornerback Zyon McCollum may have a better chance of playing against the Lions this week than right tackle Luke Goedeke. Both players will need to clear the concussion protocol later in the week to be eligible to play against the Lions.
The positive news for Tampa Bay is that reserve defensive tackle Logan Hall returned to practice in a limited capacity. Hall had a foot injury and missed Sunday’s season opener against Washington. Starting defensive tackle Calijah Kancey was also absent from practice on Wednesday with a calf injury.
