The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to enhance existing partnerships and explore new partnership opportunities for the ITA. This individual must have a proven track record of leadership and the ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others. They may potentially serve as a valuable member of the ITA Senior Leadership Team, with the exact title to be determined upon hiring. Key responsibilities include:
Major Strategic Goals/Areas of Focus:
- Nurture current partnerships and secure new funds to support the ITA’s mission and programs, with a focus on attracting new major sponsors/partners.
- Act as the primary contact for all partners, including holding quarterly calls with major partners.
- Collaborate with ITA Community Manager on partner activation services.
- Provide bi-annual reports.
Additionally, the role involves pursuing business expansion efforts, maximizing advertising revenue, working on college tennis sports wagering initiatives, fundraising at the US Open Tennis Championships, and more. Other duties may be assigned by the ITA CEO.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree with Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven record in partnership development and fundraising.
- Experience in selling on new media platforms.
- Leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
