Shortly after acquiring the Dodgers, Mark, Magic Johnson, and their partners recognized the potential risk facing the Los Angeles Sparks. In 2014, they made the decision to purchase the team to uphold its legacy and expand its fan base, solidifying their commitment to women’s sports.
