Video: Oumar Ballo preseason interview at IU basketball media day – Inside the Hall

Oumar Ballo was one of the most dominant frontcourt players in the country last season.

The Koulikoro, Mali native started 36 games for Arizona and averaged 12.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game. Ballo was named first team All-Pac 12.

Following the season, Ballo entered the transfer portal and committed to Indiana last April.

At Indiana’s 2024-25 media day at Cook Hall last month, Ballo discussed his physicality, his offseason gains under Clif Marshall, why he likes to play at an up-tempo pace, playing with Malik Reneau and much more.
