Sam Gilley (17-1, 8 KOs) is set to defend his Commonwealth title against late replacement Jack McGann (10-1-1, 7 KO).
The two fighters will headline an October 18 Queensberry Promotions show at York Hall in London, England. Boxing fans in the United Kingdom can catch the action live on TNT Sports. Fight Prediction
Gilley is a recent signing with Queensberry Promotions and appears keen to make an impression. However, a late opponent replacement means there are a number of unknowns both fighters must navigate heading into Friday night. The early round may feature little action as both men try to figure each other out. McGann has more success in knocking out opponents, but Gilley should be able to weather any storms that come his way. Expect the Commonwealth champion to secure a unanimous decision win.
