The Padres had a successful season, winning 93 games and entering October with high hopes for a playoff run. Unfortunately, their bats went cold in the final two games against the Dodgers, leading to an early offseason. The team could see some changes ahead with several key free agents.

Free Agents
Each offseason brings changes for the Padres, and this year is expected to be no different. With a significant arbitration class, key free agents, and a rotation hit due to injury, the front office has plenty to address.
The offseason begins with option and qualifying offer decisions. Wandy Peralta will stay with the team, while Ha-Seong Kim will test the market after receiving a buyout.
San Diego is unlikely to issue a qualifying offer to any of their free agents, with Tanner Scott ineligible due to a midseason trade. Jurickson Profar is a potential candidate, but his inconsistent performance may impact the decision.
