Following Game 3, Minnesota head coach Cheryl Reeve expressed that the Lynx delivered a strong performance, but fell short in their shooting accuracy. Reeve noted her discontent with the shot selection of her team, which stood at 38.7%.
“We had quality shots, but weren’t able to convert them, you know?” Reeve remarked. “Ultimately, it all comes down to making those shots. Stewie and JJ were on fire, along with their big three. And of course, Sab’s crucial shot at the end. We emphasized the importance of players stepping up and making plays. Unfortunately, we just didn’t execute enough of them.”
