In Game 6 of the 2024 NLCS against the Mets at Dodger Stadium on Sunday night, the Dodgers will need to rely on their bullpen. Pitchers like Ryan Brasier, Michael Kopech, Anthony Banda, Blake Treinen, and Daniel Hudson will be called upon to help secure the win and advance to the World Series.
After falling short in Game 5 of the NLCS, the Dodgers will have the opportunity to redeem themselves back at Chavez Ravine.
The good news is that the Dodgers’ bullpen is well-rested and prepared for the challenge ahead. They will aim to replicate their dominant performance from Game 4 of the NLDS, where they held the Padres scoreless for nine innings in an 8-0 victory.
Unfortunately, Alex Vesia and Brent Honeywell will not be available for Game 6 due to injury and workload, respectively. However, Vesia remains hopeful for a potential return in the World Series.
Jack Flaherty struggled in Game 5, in stark contrast to his stellar Game 1 performance. The Dodgers will look to their bullpen to help secure the win and avoid a Game 7 where Buehler or Yamamoto may have to pitch on short rest.
