Brooklyn Nets forward Cam Johnson remained unfazed when questioned about the ongoing trade rumors surrounding him. Johnson explained that he is not concerned about it as the new season is about to kick off.
“I am feeling quite at ease with the current situation,” Johnson stated. “Despite the uncertainties, I have faith in our staff and front office. I trust this group and I am fully committed to competing for the team. Thoughts of being traded are not occupying my mind.”
“There is a lot of basketball to be played,” he added.
Following Mikal Bridges’ trade to the New York Knicks, the Nets are leaning on Johnson to elevate his performance this season.
“He has been exceptional,” praised new Brooklyn head coach Jordi Fernandez about the experienced wing player. “I cannot speak highly enough of him.”
