Bronze is one of the more challenging resources to locate while playing Hades 2 as it does not naturally appear in the underworld. It is a resource used by mortals on the surface, requiring you to explore beyond your usual locations to find it.
While some weapons and items require Bronze, do not expect it to be readily available early in your Hades 2 playthrough. It can be found as you progress through the story, but it will not be along the typical path needed to save the Hades family from the titan, Chronos.
Bronze location in Hades 2
To find Bronze, you must visit the surface and go to Olympus in Hades 2. Initially, there is a barrier preventing access to this location, but by completing the Permeation of Witching Wards, which requires finding the Shadow resource and following several steps, you can unlock it. The key steps are as follows:
- Defeat Scylla, the final boss in Oceanus.
- Speak to Hermes.
- Speak to Hecate at the end of Erebus to unlock the Permeation of Witching Wards incantation.
After completing the Permeation of Witching Wards incantation in Hades 2, the barrier to the surface will be lifted, allowing you to explore this new region. There, you will find various resources, items, and enemies to conquer. However, your time on the surface is limited. Here is how to complete the Incantation.
Those born within the House of Hades cannot survive on the surface and will be forced back underground by taking multiple hits until you complete the Unraveling a Fateful Bond incantation, which stops the ongoing damage. It is recommended to complete this Incantation as soon as possible, utilizing the provided resources.
Look for a small pile of worn-down metals with a distinct brown tint at the edge of the map to locate the Bronze resource.
Similar to Silver, Bronze consists of three pieces that can be collected before the deposit is depleted. Use the Crescent Pick to harvest Bronze, as it is the only way to gather it in Hades 2. Remember to return to the surface regularly if you need more.
