The Role
Oversee all aspects of National Junior tournaments in the United States. Oversee and manage the operations of all nationally sanctioned events hosted at the USTA National Campus, organize TD workshop, and maintain the entire National Junior tournament calendar.
Responsible for the maintenance of the national junior tournament schedule events to include distributing and obtaining information and materials to and from tournament directors such as rules and regulations, tournament bids (new & renewals), sanction fees, award orders and other information as necessary for the appropriate administration of these events.
Respond to customers on inquiries regarding the USTA Rules and Regulations related to National Junior Tournament Schedule events and other issues related to Junior Competition.
Manage all pre-tournament operational support of the ITF tournaments in the United States. Work with the tournament directors to produce Fact Sheets and other requirements of the ITF. Answer questions from players, coaches and parents related to ITF tournaments in the United States by having a thorough knowledge of ITF rules. Process post tournament details including any grants or payments to officials.
Serve as primary point of contact for Serve Tennis in maintenance of the on-line calendar and entry and selection process associated with National Junior Championship events.
In conjunction with Director, Competition Pathway, oversee critical components pre, during and post-event for largest junior events in the US: Jr., Orange Bowl and Jr. US Open.
Oversee aspects of the Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships
Provide critical support to Section Staff for Player Development and Junior Competition Committee.
Plan, manage, and implement the Tournament Directors Workshops and Junior Competition Committee projects.
Manage and maintain the Budgets for (1) National Junior Tournaments (2) Jr ITF Tournaments and (3) Orange Bowl.
Manage the selection of the National Junior Scholar-Athlete Award by collaborating with the Junior Comp subcommittee
Manage all Tournament Director communications. This includes running calls with each tournament segment group.
Hire all coaches needed for the USTA Brewer Team Cup

Who You Are
College degree required and/or relevant experience
Tournament Operations experience
Event Operations Experience
Managing and/or maintaining budgets
Proficient in Google suite of products.
The role is designated as “hybrid/flex,” allowing for both remote and on-site work. Adherence to current USTA hybrid/flex requirements is essential, with periodic updates from HR informing the most current policy.

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $70,000 – 85,000. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant’s qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
