Caitlin Clark was back in Iowa City for the Hawkeyes’ homecoming, attending multiple events as one of the school’s most-famous recent alumni.
Clark was at a women’s basketball practice, spending time in the practice facility she used to call home as well as Carver-Hawkeye Arena, where she turned into one of the greatest college basketball players of all-time.
Clark was joined fellow Hawkeye women’s basketball alumni by Gabbie Marshall and Kate Martin at some of the weekend’s events.
Former program head coach Lisa Bluder was also in Iowa City this weekend to be honored, as she stepped away from the team after last season’s second-consecutive national runners-up finish.
Taking over the Hawkeyes was Jan Jensen, who was an assistant coach on the team when Clark played for Iowa. The trio of players under her celebrated Jensen’s daughter’s birthday together on Friday.

One video from the weekend showed Clark going nuts at a women’s basketball practice after a basket was scored by the Hawkeyes against the scout team.
Clark was also seen modeling the team’s Big Ten Championship rings from last season.
Since leaving Iowa, Clark was drafted No 1 in this year’s WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever and set several records in her debut professional season.
Clark led the Fever to the WNBA playoffs for the first time since 2016 before being eliminated by the Connecticut Sun.
The point guard finished fourth in MVP voting while being named the league’s rookie of the year.
Clark has not decided whether she will compete in the upcoming Unrivaled 3-on-3 basketball league, where she could make over $1million by participating.
