Jeremy Stenberg stars in pilot for Polaris’ “Tough Doesn’t Quit”

Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg earned his nickname due to being diagnosed with Tourette syndrome as a child. Despite this disorder and the injuries he faced as a motocross rider, he went on to become a five-time X Games gold medalist and short course off-road champion.

To honor his career, Polaris launched a new series called Tough Doesn’t Quit with Stenberg as the focus of the pilot episode, which premiered on Tuesday.

Stenberg started the video by saying, “If I had to define toughness, I say toughness is more mental for sure. Physical is whatever. You can get hurt and cry about it and be okay in an hour, but if you’re not mentally strong, you’re not going to get anything accomplished.”

Tough Doesn’t Quit will feature athletes and individuals who have overcome challenging times in their lives, reflecting the resilience shown in the technology used in Polaris’ vehicles like the Polaris RZR.

Polaris stated, “That same relentless spirit fuels Polaris in everything they do. They don’t just build machines; they innovate and evolve constantly. Polaris’ Tough Doesn’t Quit campaign showcases the stories of its athletes and owners, as well as the brand’s unwavering dedication to producing the toughest, most durable machines in the industry.”

Stenberg experienced numerous injuries throughout his career from crashes and falls. He recalled a severe accident at X Games XVII that resulted in multiple broken bones, describing it as one of the hardest to recover from. Despite these challenges, Stenberg returned to win two more gold medals in Moto X Best Whip in 2012 and 2013.

In total, Stenberg won seventeen X Games medals from 2005 to 2014 and also found success in short course off-road racing, winning the 2010 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series‘ Super Lite championship and competing in the Stadium Super Trucks at X Games Austin 2015.
