Larry Eder
Larry Eder has been involved in the sport of athletics for 52 years. He has participated in the sport as an athlete, coach, magazine publisher, journalist, and blogger. In 1983, his first article, about Don Bowden, America’s first sub-4 minute miler, was published in RW. Larry has produced multiple magazines on athletics, including American Athletics and the U.S. version of Spikes magazine. Currently, he oversees the content and marketing development of the RunningNetwork, The Shoe Addicts, and RunBlogRun. Reflecting on his daily involvement with RunBlogRun, Larry expresses his passion, saying: “I have to admit, I love traveling to distant meets, writing about the sport I love, and the athletes I respect, for my readers at runblogrun.com, more than anything else I have ever done, except, perhaps, running itself.”Additionally, at major events, he provides updates for BBC Sports, a task he truly enjoys.
