Youssef Zalal continues to impress with his third consecutive finish, this time securing a submission victory during the UFC Edmonton preliminary card.
The first round of the fight against Jack Shore was tight, with Shore showing better quality action. However, Zalal had more control, preventing Shore from launching further attacks.
The match came to an abrupt end in the second round when Zalal landed a well-timed knee that dropped Shore. Zalal then followed up with ground-and-pound before securing an arm-triangle choke for the submission.
