Are you wondering how many Dragon Age: The Veilguard Acts there are? You’re not alone. BioWare’s latest entry in the long-running franchise has a lot of players enjoying themselves. Many believe it’s a genuine Game of the Year contender. One thing that matters to modern gamers is how long the game is.
This one is split into acts, but paying a high price for a game with a short runtime is not very fun for a lot of people. How many acts are there in this game and how long do they last? Here’s what we know.
How many Acts are in Dragon Age The Veilguard?
There are currently just three acts in Dragon Age The Veilguard. They serve to split the story up into three pieces, which is similar to how movies function. Dragon Age has missions within each act. There are 23 missions to the story in Act One, making it the longest act of the three.
The second act has 17 story missions, so there’s still plenty to do. The third and final act has only four missions. However, this is the endgame section, and these missions are detailed and lengthy. The third act is shorter, but it’s not an abrupt end to the game after doing so much in the first two sections.
This is likely all there will be to Dragon Age The Veilguard. EA has said that there aren’t any plans for DLC for the game and that it is instead focusing on a new Mass Effect game. Rather than adding acts or missions, it looks like BioWare and EA are satisfied with the story they’ve told in The Veilguard and will not be trying to extend it.
