Caitlin Clark’s inaugural WNBA season may have concluded, but she has a packed schedule for her first offseason, including a speaking engagement with a prominent late-night talk show host.
Clark is set to join David Letterman on stage in December for a lecture series at Ball State in Indiana.
Letterman, who has been hosting the lecture series at his alma mater since 2008, will feature Clark in his “David Letterman Distinguished Professional Lecture and Workshop Series” on Dec. 2 at Emens Auditorium on campus.

University President Geoffrey S. Mearns announced Clark’s appearance with Letterman.
“David Letterman is our University’s most famous graduate,” the statement read. “He is a native Hoosier and a national icon, and Caitlin Clark has quickly become a beloved Hoosier and national star. I anticipate their conversation will be very special. On behalf of Ball State, we are honored to host them.”

Letterman’s lecture series has featured many special guests, including Oprah and Rachel Maddow.
As noted, Clark has rapidly risen as a star in Indiana after being chosen by the WNBA’s Fever as the top overall pick.
She aided the Fever in reaching the playoffs while shattering multiple league records, ultimately earning Rookie of the Year honors.
Among her record-breaking feats were the most points and three-pointers scored by a rookie, along with setting the WNBA single-season record with 337 assists.
Letterman was among several celebrities who attended a Fever home game this season at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, where they were also spotted together post-game.
Since her remarkable season, Clark has been enjoying various activities, including golf, attending a Taylor Swift concert at Lucas Oil Stadium, and appearing with teammates as new head coach Stephanie White was introduced by the Fever last week.
Meanwhile, the new Unrivaled Basketball League, co-founded by WNBA All-Stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, is reportedly pursuing Clark for their inaugural season in January.
