Robert Kubica’s interview with BBC is incredibly honest and emotional. He shares, “The problem in F1 is the space. Maybe someday, when the FIA says that the car must be 10-15 cm wider, they will be able to drive, but it’s not like rallies are a fallback. What’s important to me is that I see progress. In everyday life, I struggle with limitations, but when I drive, I see progress – whether it’s in a rally car or a simulator. The question is how much efficiency I can regain and how long it will take me, but if I’m honest, it doesn’t matter to me whether it takes a month or 10 years, maybe someday I will have the chance to drive in F1 again” – says the Pole.
