Songs of Silence Roadmap has been revealed, and it’s a promising future for the hit 4X game.
Songs of Silence has been released onto Steam with its 1.0 version to glowing praise. They are currently holding a Very Positive review on Steam, with over 700 reviews so far. The game saw a strong player count at full release, peaking at 766 peak players on the 14th of November, so early signs are looking promising.
However, moving forward, things are not standing still. The developer has released a roadmap for the game. You can see the image below, alongside our full breakdown.
Songs of Silence Roadmap
2024
Starting with some new content in 2024 with patch 1.1. A bunch of “hand-scripted” challenge maps will be released, letting you put your skills to the test against a challenging foe. We don’t have many more details for now, but we should get more info soon.
2025 – DLC 1
Coming in the early part of 2025, we have the first DLC release for the game. Based on the image, we can assume it will come with a new leader(?) with some new cards to use. We suspect it will also include a bunch of new maps and maybe some story content.
Ongoing
We also have a bunch of ongoing stuff coming to the game. We have the normal game improvements, better AI, performance, improved readability of battles etc. New content will include more Skirmish Maps, new fates, and new languages.
The game will also add some community-requested items from the game’s request tracker. While Kickstarter backers will also get the second batch of their digital rewards.
That’s it for the roadmap for now, but we’re sure to hear more things in 2025.
