2024 CSC Academic All-District Team
GREENWOOD, Ind. – North Florida women’s soccer’s Brialyn Anderson, Zara Siassi, Paige McSwigan, Amanda Hartmann, Chloe Lynch and Kayla Bond were all named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced by the national organization on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
The Ospreys received a program-high six selections as these players are just the second group in program history to be selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team since expanding the selections in 2022. Siassi and Bond earned their second Academic All-District selections while Anderson, McSwigan, Hartmann and Lynch reeled in their first career selections.
Siassi adds her fourth postseason accolade after being named ASUN Defensive Player of the Year while also receiving All-ASUN First-Team and Academic honors in her final season with the Ospreys. McSwigan tallied her third postseason honor after being named to the All-ASUN Second-Team and Academic Team. Hartmann also garnered All-ASUN Second Team honors for her performances in midfield.
“Really nice to see so many of our student-athletes recognized for their play on the field and in the classroom” said head coach Eric Faulconer. “All six players recognized by the CSC organization are excellent soccer players and students. They are truly committed to both endeavors and I am very happy to see them recognized as Academic All-District Team selections.”
The 2024 CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation’s finest student-athletes on and off the field. Honorees advance to the All-American round, with CSC Academic All-America Team selections released on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
About the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Award
The 2024 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 10 (men) and December 11 (women). The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
