Madison Keys and Bjorn Fratangelo tied the knot on Saturday, November 23, 2024, after a year and a half of engagement. The beautiful ceremony took place at Kiawah River, near Charleston, South Carolina.
The wedding was graced by the presence of many tennis players, such as Jennifer Brady, Jessica Pegula, Laura Robson, Sloane Stephens, Taylor Townsend, and Desirae Krawczyk. Guests shared glimpses of the joyous celebration on social media, capturing heartfelt moments from the event.
The bride looked stunning in a lace gown with a plunging V-neckline, thick straps, and a delicate train, radiating timeless elegance and modern sophistication.
Sharing wedding photos on Instagram, world No.21 Keys expressed her happiness: “Best weekend of my life.” Fratangelo, a former world No. 99 in the ATP Rankings, also shared his excitement, saying: “Can’t put into words how amazing this day was. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with you.”
The relationship between Keys and Fratangelo began long before they officially started dating. Both trained together at a facility in Florida and moved within the same social circle. Their bond grew over time, culminating in their public announcement as a couple on Instagram in December 2017. This milestone came shortly after Madison’s successful performance at the US Open, where she reached her first Grand Slam final.
Since mid-2023, Fratangelo has taken on the role of Keys’ coach. His guidance came after her early exit at Roland Garros and coincided with a resurgence in her career, including a semifinal appearance at the 2023 US Open. Their partnership, both on and off the court, continues to flourish, with their marriage marking another chapter in their intertwined journey.
