Czech club ZVVZ USK Praha will be receiving reinforcements for Week 6 of EuroLeague Women group play. Australian center Ezi Magbegor, who took some time off after playing for the Seattle Storm in the WNBA, will make her EuroLeague season debut for Praha on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
Magbegor had a standout season for Praha last year, averaging 13.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and leading with 2.4 blocked shots per game. She was named to the All-EuroLeague Women First Team for her performance. Along with Brionna Jones and Isabelle Harrison, Magbegor strengthens Praha’s frontcourt and is integral to the club’s defensive identity.
Magbegor and Praha will face Awak Kuier and Umana Reyer Venezia this week. Both teams are 3-2 and one game behind Valencia Basket Club (4-1) in Group D standings. Despite already securing a spot in the second round of EuroLeague Women group play, all three teams will compete in mid-December.
Only two spots in the next round remain up for grabs. Perfumerias Avenida and DVTK HUN-Therm are positioned to advance in Group A, while KGHM BC Polkowice and Villeneuve-d’Ascq LM are vying for the final spot in Group C. Most of this week’s matchups will be streamed live and for free on FIBA’s EuroLeague Women YouTube channel, with the exception of the game between Avenida and DVTK, which requires a subscription to DAZN for streaming.
