The annual event will be held April 3 at the Lancaster Marriott and Convention Center.
LANCASTER, Pa. — Next year, the PA Chamber’s Annual Women in Business Conference will feature WNBA star Caitlyn Clark as the keynote speaker.
The former Iowa University star and No. 1 overall draft pick took the women’s professional league by storm in her first season with the Indiana Fever, earning WNBA Rookie of the Year honors, along with First-Team All WNBA status and a selection to the league’s All-Star Game.
She’ll be the main speaker at the PA Chamber event, which will be held on April 3 at the Lancaster Marriott and Convention Center.
“From her incredible athletic skills to the team-oriented way she conducts herself, Caitlin Clark is a world-class athlete and leader who inspires generations of fans,” PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein said. “We’re so excited to welcome her to our Women in Business Conference and discuss how she navigates her basketball career, her business ventures, and more, all while prioritizing the charitable work and leadership that makes her a role model to millions.”
Clark finished her college basketball career as the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer and was a four-time Associated Press All-American. She was also a two-time Naismith Women’s College Basketball Player of the Year and a two-time John R. Wooden Award winner.
Off the court, Clark is making an impact with The Caitlin Clark Foundation, which is focused on youth empowerment through education, nutrition, and sports—the very pillars of her success. The Chamber said that her relentless pursuit of excellence transcends sports and business, as she remains committed to enduring change, both within the game and beyond its boundaries.
Additional speakers for the event will be announced soon, the Chamber stated. At the day-long event, attendees will hear from dynamic leaders, forge impactful relationships and learn how to harness unique talents. The goal is to allow attendees to gain the insights and confidence to soar to new heights in their personal and professional lives.
