The Seattle Storm has announced the results of the external investigation into harassment allegations against the coaching staff, stating that no policy violations or discrimination, harassment, or bullying were found.
According to sources, Jewell Loyd has requested a trade from the Storm after being at the center of the investigation for filing a complaint about harassment and bullying by the coaching staff.
Drafted as the No. 1 pick in the 2015 WNBA Draft, Loyd has had a successful career with the Storm, earning numerous accolades and leading the league in scoring in 2023.
Following a challenging season in 2023, Loyd signed a contract extension with the Storm, but reports of discord within the team have led to speculation about her future with the organization.
It is believed that Loyd’s trade request will prompt a roster overhaul for the Storm, starting with the Expansion Draft on Friday.
