The Los Angeles Dodgers recently signed Blake Snell, making a significant move this winter. Andrew Friedman, the President of baseball operations, is excited about Snell joining the team and believes he has the potential to shine in Hollywood.
Friedman stated, “With a player like Blake Snell, who has already achieved a lot of success, we usually see signings at the end of a player’s career. With Blake, we see a lot of potential and upside beyond what he has achieved so far. This could greatly impact our pursuit of winning a World Series this year and in the future.”
Despite facing some injuries in the past, Snell, at 32 years old, is ready for this new chapter with the Dodgers after a challenging season with the San Francisco Giants.
In a recent interview, Snell reflected on his growth, saying, “Learning from my struggles earlier this year helped me become more confident and dominant in my performances later on.”
Snell pitched his first career no-hitter in the ninth year of his career against the Cincinnati Reds. Despite a rough start in San Francisco, he returned from injury stronger and achieved this milestone.
The Dodgers are known for their ability to improve pitchers’ performance, and it’s likely they will continue to elevate Snell’s game in the years to come.
