The Los Angeles Dodgers have inked a minor league deal with veteran infielder David Bote, who will also receive an invitation to the team’s major league camp in the spring. Bote previously played a significant role for the Chicago Cubs from 2018-2021, but was outrighted by the organization in August.
Meanwhile, free agent Walker Buehler, a highly regarded starting pitcher, is drawing interest from multiple teams, including a National League West competitor.
General manager Brandon Gomes of the Dodgers confirmed that the team is not done with their offseason transactions. It remains to be seen whether they will re-sign popular players like Buehler and Teoscar Hernández.
