The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed right-handed pitcher Matt Sauer to a minor league deal, as reported by ESPN’s Kiley McDaniel. This contract also includes an invitation for Sauer to attend the Dodgers’ big league spring training camp.
RHP Matt Sauer has signed a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers and has been invited to spring training, according to sources.
25-year-old Sauer was a Rule 5 pick by the Royals last year and was a second round draft pick by the Yankees in 2017.

Formerly a prospect for the New York Yankees, Sauer, now 25, was drafted by the Yankees in the second round of the 2017 draft.
He made his debut in the major leagues last season with the Kansas City Royals.
