The Atlanta Dream’s preseason will feature a matchup against the Indiana Fever and their standout point guard Caitlin Clark, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year.
On Tuesday, the Dream unveiled their 2025 preseason schedule.
Their preseason will kick off with an away game against the Washington Mystics on Wednesday, May 7, at 11:30 a.m. They will then return home to face Indiana at Gateway Center Arena in College Park on Saturday, May 10, at 3 p.m.
In a previous article, it was noted that Atlanta and Seattle would compete in the first WNBA regular season game held in Canada in August.
The Dream’s preseason matches will give fans their first look at the team under new head coach Karl Smesko, featuring returning WNBA All-Stars Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray, as well as a promising group of young talent eager to build on their recent postseason appearances.
The team announced that the preseason game against the Fever will be part of the season ticket packages for full Dream Elite Members, replacing the originally scheduled game against the Seattle Storm on Friday, Aug. 15.
Additionally, the Dream will now face the Storm in the WNBA Canada Game in Vancouver, marking the league’s first regular-season game outside of the United States.
The Dream’s regular season will commence on May 16 in Washington, followed by a home game against the Fever on May 22 for their home opener.
