Reebok and the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) have announced a multi-year partnership that makes the sportswear firm an authorized footwear supplier for the league.
The deal will involve the brand and its players creating collaborative content, including Reebok athletes Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky and Lexie Brown of the Los Angeles Sparks.
WNBA chief growth officer Colie Edison said: “As we continue to capitalize on increased brand awareness, our work with Reebok is another step in bringing more fans to the game.”
In 2021, Reebok unveiled a brand strategy to return to the sports scene. Shortly thereafter, the brand named NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson to executive leadership roles for its basketball division and signed rising women’s basketball star Reese.
The brand also has new partnerships with leagues like the UK’s Super Basketball League and the Australian National Basketball League.
Meanwhile, Franklin Sports, the sports goods manufacturer, has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with the WNBA.

As part of the deal, Franklin will make co-branded youth and fan products, set to be released in the summer of 2025.
The products will include over-the-door hoop sets, toy basketball hoop sets and games, foam, plush and toy balls, pickleball paddles, and standings trackers.
The deal adds to Franklin Sports’ roster of women’s sports properties, which includes the National Women’s Soccer League, the Pro Volleyball Federation, and USA Softball.
In March, Franklin Sports also announced an extension to their long-term agreement with Major League Baseball (MLB), with the partnership now entering its 40th year.
The Massachusetts brand serves as MLB’s official on-field batting gloves, official sliding gloves, and a strategic youth participation partner.
