Amishland and Lakes has relocated its headquarters this year to the Lagrange County 4-H Fairgrounds in LaGrange, Indiana. Step into a world where traditions have stayed virtually unchanged for over a century. Known as one of the most welcoming rides, you will have the chance to meet families, women’s groups, cycling clubs, and tandem pairs who all appreciate our routes for being “tandem friendly.” Enjoy the wide open spaces, fresh country air, and the warm hospitality of the locals, along with delicious food options. Indulge in the famous SAG food offerings such as watermelons, grapes, plums, blueberries, bananas, cookies, and more. Along the route, you can also find Amish bakeries, restaurants, and homemade ice cream parlors. Don’t miss out on the Breakfast from Betra food truck serving breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, as well as post-ride eats on Saturday. Bike rentals are available from Spin Zone and Pumpkinvine Cyclery bike shops this year. The routes range from 22 to 100 miles, featuring smooth, quiet roads where buggies are a common sight and cars are rare. Both days start and end at the Community Building at the 4-H Fairgrounds. Additionally, we provide directions for a self-guided Friday option to bike the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail. Camping options are available at the 4-H Fairgrounds near our start location.
