Cameron Brink and other WNBA stars reacted to LA Sparks’ guard Zia Cooke’s latest big purchase. In an Instagram post on Christmas Eve, Cooke showed off a luxury gift for herself. She bought a 2025 model Mercedes-Benz EQS valued at $104,000 by Edmunds.

She posted a series of pictures, mostly posing in front of the car. One picture also included her posing with her family.

“Said I’d do it and I did…” Cooke wrote.

The post got a reaction from several WNBA players, including her LA Sparks teammates like Azura Stevens and Cameron Brink.

“ateeee,” Stevens commented.

“Loveee😍,” Cameron Brink wrote.

Former WNBA player and NBA player Dwight Howard’s ex-girlfriend Tea Cooper also reacted to the post.

“W ZAZA W ZAZA 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” she wrote.

Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston was clear about what she expected from her former South Carolina teammate and fellow WNBA player.

“Let me take it for a spin😍😍,” Boston commented.

Arike Ogunbowale, Adidas Basketball and LA Sparks also reacted with fire emojis in the comments section.

Zia Cooke was selected No. 10 by the LA Sparks in the first round of the 2023 WNBA draft. In her two seasons, she has embraced the bench player’s role. Last season, she averaged 4.8 points on 28.9% shooting. In two years, Cooke averages 4.3 points on 30.0% shooting, including 27.4% from the 3-point line.

Cameron Brink joins the Unrivaled league under first wild-card spot

WNBA fans will not have to wait for too long to watch WNBA players in action. Before the 2025 season starts, several will play in the inaugural Unrivaled league that starts Jan. 17.

While so many star players like Angel Reese, Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart had already committed to playing in the 3X3 basketball league, Cameron Brink’s signing brought another star power to the league.

The LA Sparks star was the first wild-card entry in Unrivaled. She will be part of the Lunar Owls, joining other stars like Collier, Natasha Cloud, Skylar Diggins-Smith and Allisha Gray.

However, Cameron Brink will play in 2026 due to injury concerns. Last season, in her rookie year, she suffered a season-ending ACL injury. The former Stanford star could play only 15 games in her rookie season but solidified herself as one of the biggest defensive players for the future.
